Ryft — Refund & Sales Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026

Effective date: October 6, 2026

This Refund & Sales Policy (the "Policy") governs purchases of Ryft (the "Software") from ryftapi.com (the "Site"). It is published by Ryft Security, LLC, a limited liability company formed in Virginia, USA ("Ryft", "we", "us", or "our"). By completing a purchase you agree to this Policy, which forms part of and is incorporated into our Terms of Service and End User License Agreement. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in those documents.

1. What you are buying

1.1. Ryft is sold as a one-time purchase of a one-year license to use the Software. It is not a subscription. There is no automatic renewal, no recurring billing, and no standing payment authorization. When your license year ends, nothing is charged to you automatically; to continue receiving updates and licensed use you purchase a new one-year license.

1.2. The current price is US$49 for a one-year license. Pricing is stated on the Site and may change at any time; the price shown at checkout is the price that applies to your order.

1.3. Each license is per device / per install: one purchased license entitles activation and use on one device or installation. Additional devices require additional licenses.

1.4. The Software and the license are digital goods delivered electronically and immediately. On successful payment we generate a license key and (a) email it to the address you provide at checkout via our transactional email provider and (b) display it on the order-confirmation page, and we make the Software available for download through time-limited signed download links. Delivery is deemed complete when the license key is issued and shown on the confirmation page and/or sent to your email address.

2. All sales are final

2.1. All sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, exchanges, or credits, in whole or in part, including (without limitation) for change of mind, lack of use, accidental purchase, duplicate licenses purchased in error, purchase of the wrong number of licenses, incompatibility with your environment, or dissatisfaction with scan results or Software behavior, except as expressly stated in Section 3 or where a non-excludable statutory right applies (Section 4).

2.2. Because the Software is a digital product delivered immediately upon purchase, by completing your order you request immediate delivery and acknowledge that delivery begins at once, and that no cooling-off or withdrawal period applies except to the extent a non-excludable law provides otherwise.

2.3. Promotional, discounted, and bundle purchases are also final and are not eligible for price adjustments, retroactive discounts, or refunds of any difference if the price later changes.

3. Professional and business use only

3.1. Ryft is offered and sold for professional and business use only. It is not offered to, marketed to, or intended for consumers, and is not a consumer product.

3.2. By purchasing, you represent and warrant that you are acquiring and using the Software in a business or professional capacity — for authorized security testing — and not as a consumer for personal, family, or household purposes.

3.3. Why this matters. Many consumer-protection regimes grant individual consumers rights that do not extend to business or professional buyers — for example, statutory cancellation or "cooling-off"/withdrawal rights for distance and online purchases. Because Ryft is sold strictly for business and professional use, those consumer withdrawal and cancellation rights generally do not apply to your purchase. This Policy is written on that basis.

4. Your non-excludable statutory rights

4.1. Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, warranty, right, or remedy that applies to you under applicable law and that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified by agreement (a "non-excludable right").

4.2. If a non-excludable right applies to your purchase despite its professional/business character, this Policy operates subject to that right, and the remedy available to you is the one that the applicable law requires — no more and no less. Where the law permits us to limit our liability for a breach of a non-excludable right to re-supplying the Software or refunding the price paid, our liability is limited accordingly.

5. Failed or non-delivery — our remedy

5.1. If you complete payment but do not receive your license key, or the key or download link does not work, this is a delivery issue, not a basis for a refund. Contact us at support@ryftapi.com and we will investigate and, where the issue is on our side, re-send your license key, re-issue a working key, and/or provide a fresh download link at no additional charge.

5.2. Re-delivering or fixing delivery of a product you purchased is not a refund and does not entitle you to one. Our obligation in a delivery failure is to make delivery good.

5.3. To help us resolve a delivery issue quickly, please include the email address used at checkout and, if available, your order/confirmation reference.

6. Lost keys and license transfers

6.1. Lost-key reissue. If you lose your license key, contact support@ryftapi.com from, or referencing, the email address used at purchase and we will re-send the key associated with your order at no charge. We may take reasonable steps to confirm you are the original purchaser before reissuing a key. Reissuing a lost key does not create a new or additional license and does not change its one-device scope or expiry date.

6.2. License transfers. A license is intended for the original purchaser. We do not support or guarantee transfer, resale, sublicensing, or assignment of a license to another person or entity, and any purported transfer is not binding on us unless we confirm it in writing. If you have a genuine need to transfer a license (for example, a change of business entity), contact legal@ryftapi.com; we may, at our sole discretion and on a case-by-case basis, agree to a transfer, but we are under no obligation to do so. A transfer, if approved, does not extend the license term or convert a per-device license into a multi-device license.

7. Chargebacks and payment disputes

7.1. Please contact us first. If something is wrong with your order, email support@ryftapi.com before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. Almost every issue — a missing key, a download problem, a duplicate charge — can be resolved faster by contacting us directly.

7.2. Filing a chargeback or dispute does not by itself establish an entitlement to a refund under this Policy. Where we believe a chargeback is improper (for example, the license was delivered and used), we reserve the right to contest it and to provide our payment processor with records of the purchase and delivery.

7.3. We reserve the right to suspend, deactivate, or revoke any license associated with a chargeback, reversed payment, or fraudulent or unauthorized transaction, and to decline future sales to a purchaser who has filed an improper chargeback.

8. Pricing, taxes, and promotional codes

8.1. Pricing. All prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise shown. We may change prices at any time; a price change does not affect an order already completed.

8.2. Taxes. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Any sales, use, VAT, GST, and similar taxes or duties that apply to your purchase may be added at checkout and/or are your responsibility, other than taxes on our net income. Where we are required to collect such taxes, they will be shown before you complete your order.

8.3. Promotional codes. Promotional or discount codes, where offered, are subject to their own terms and any stated expiry, eligibility, and usage limits. Codes have no cash value, cannot be combined unless expressly permitted, cannot be applied retroactively to a completed order, and may be withdrawn or voided if obtained or used in a manner we consider abusive or in error.

9. Payment processing

9.1. Checkout is handled by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment card details, email, and billing address. We never receive or store your full card number. Your use of checkout is also subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. How we handle the limited personal data we do hold is described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to this Policy

10.1. We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. The "Last updated" date above indicates when this Policy was most recently revised, and the current version is always available on the Site.
